Improved Motions Physical Therapy is dedicated to providing a personalized patient experience. Patients are given full attention throughout their entire treatment.
Our therapists go above and beyond by identifying the cause of the problem instead of treating only symptoms. Improved Motions puts people over profits by not allowing insurance companies to dictate how our patients are treated.
Patient health is our top priority and utilizing this model allows our therapists to focus on providing the best quality care possible.
We give our patients the tools and support to achieve their goals through physical therapy, exercise, and overall wellness education.
Dr. Michael Mann is a physical therapist who believes in putting patients first. Identifying and treating the cause affecting his patients, not just treating symptoms they are feeling. Michael is the founder of Improved Motions Physical Therapy. Michael attended The University of St. Augustine Health and Science, CA (USA), where he received a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Later, he returned to USA to complete advanced training, earning a manual therapy and dry needling certification.
Progressing his education, Michael continues with breakthrough interventions studying instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, myofascial and trigger point release, joint mobilization, and manipulation. Expanding his knowledge, he completed the Grays Institute Fellowship of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) utilized by the top professional sports therapist and elite trainers.
Completing FAFS, he acquired the tools to influence proper movement patterns to increase an individual’s quality of motion and promote healthy living habits.

Dr. Taylor Sloan is a dedicated and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy, earning his degree from Florida Southern College. As a former NCAA Division II soccer player and track athlete, he understands the importance of movement, performance, and injury prevention. His goal is to help individuals regain mobility, return to the activities they love, and reach their highest physical potential.
Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Sloan actively pursues advanced training and certifications to enhance his expertise and provide the best possible care for his patients. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting, as well as spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
Emma is a Doctor of Physical Therapy whose motto is “If everyone felt just a little bit better, the world would be a better place.” She specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and physical therapy for runners. She has coached people through overcoming injury to run their first half and full marathons, all while giving them the lifelong tools to know what to do if a pain flare pops up. One of her greatest joys is watching people conquer pain and pelvic floor dysfunction to achieve things they never thought they could do, whether it’s casual running without pain or taking 10 minutes off their marathon PR.
Outside of physical therapy, Emma loves to train for marathons (unsurprisingly!), play piano and renovate houses with her fiance.
